Tracy’s Tweet Read During The European Space Agency’s Rosetta Mission Webcast

The world watched the European Space Agency’s global live webcast in astonishment as the Philae probe landed on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, 300 million miles from Earth, traveling at a speed of 34,000 miles per hour. Just before the webcast switched back to the European Space Operations Centre for the probe’s descent to the comet, the ESA’s Monika Jones and Mark McCaughrean read William Shatner’s tweet, then Tracy’s tweet.
